Design-Build versus Blueprint “Hand-offs”
The traditional approach for construction projects consists of the appointment of an Architect or Designer on one side, and the appointment of a Contractor or Builder on the other side. The blueprints get handed off and the Builder is entrusted to make them come to life. However, there are often changes made in the field, or adjustments that deviate from the plans, and the end result can differ from the Architect’s vision.
